Aditya was raised in San Jose, California, where he became a devoted Warriors fan (even in the bad times). As a teen, he transitioned from Nationally-ranked chess player to laboratory researcher. He attends a joint undergraduate/medical school program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute/Albany Medical College, where he is majoring in Computer Science and Biology. He started in the Nelson Lab as a summer intern in 2022, where he learned mouse behavioral assays and is developing a machine-learning approach to behavioral detection in a mouse model of tardive dyskinesia. The highlight of his summer was the acquisition of a new GPU (Nvidia GPU RTX 3090 Ti).
