Antonetta bopped around the Bay Area as a child, finishing high school in San Mateo. She was the leading lady in Shrek Junior, the musical, playing the ogre Fiona. Finding her love of science through the beauty of insects and creating homes for arachnids, she is now a Neuroscience major at Johns Hopkins University. She started in the Nelson Lab as a summer intern in 2022, where she learned about mouse models of Parkinson’s Disease and quantitative histology and immunohistochemistry. Her legacy in the lab is her beautiful slides.
