Isabelle Gonzalez Montalvo was raised in Puerto Rico, which for those who are not aware, is part of the United States. She attends University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras, where she is studying Molecular Biology. In Puerto Rico, she studies the structure-function relationships of ion channels and neurotransmitter receptors. She has spent two summers in the Nelson lab, working on circuit mechanisms of Parkinson's Disease. She has excellent taste in sweaters. In her spare time, she enjoys the beach, Bad Bunny, Bad Bunny, and Bad Bunny.
